The most common crushing process in metal concentrators is the three-stage closed-circuit crusher process for coarse, medium, fine crushing and screening operations, but there are also two-stage open or closed-circuit crushing processes.

The first section of the three-stage crushing process is coarsely broken, generally using a jaw crusher or a rotary crusher; the second section is a standard cone crusher; the third section is finely divided, often using a short cone. Crusher.

 

For a small processing plant with a small throughput, the third section can use a roller crusher.

 

In the second-stage and one-closed crushing process, the final section uses a medium-sized cone crusher. In the small-scale selection or crushing of brittle materials, a counter-crusher or a hammer crusher can be used.
